February 7, 2012 Tuesday 11:30- 2:30  Tila Picot Bracelet with Marcia Balonis.  Use Tila beads with 15, 11, and 8 seed beads and include tiny 3.4mm drops creating a double row of picots.  Larger drops will work but will stick out.  Beginners ok, may not finish in class.  $30

February 7, 2011  Tuesday 3:30-6:30  Elegant Serpentina Necklace or Bracelet with Marcia Balonis.  This is so elegant!  This is a GREAT class for beginners or anyone who wants to learn a new chain.  Selected for the Bead and Button show in June 2012.  This is wonderful all by itself or would be great as a chain to hold a pendant or large bead.   Uses 100+ size 3mm FP and either 13/0 Charlottes or 15/0 SB’s.   Only a speedy beader will finish in class.  Students may do either bracelet or necklace.  $25

February 22, 2012 Wednesday 2-4 Twisted Around wire bracelet with Marcia Balonis. A basic wire twist design using 2 gauges of wire and 6mm beads. I like 18g for the base and 21g square for the twisting, you can also use 20g for twisting. The Bead Strand. $15

February 22, 2012 Wednesday 10:15-1:15 Rings and a Twist bracelet with Marcia Balonis. A basic wire coil design using 2 gauges of wire and ~ 12mm beads with spacers. I like 20g for the base of the coil and 22g for the coil, you will also use 18g for mounting the coil and beads.  Great use of lampwork pairs or gemstones as well as some pretty metal beads.  Fun stuff!  Instructor will provide the 18g.   Also uses copper jump rings available at the store for the basic 2 in 2 chain.  The Bead Strand. $25

February 24, 2012  Friday 11-2  Encrusted Tube Necklace with Marcia Balonis.  Using herringbone for the base, students will decorate and get loopy with a wide variety of options to suit individual taste.  You will need 8/0 and 6/0 seed beads for base.  The loops are 15/0 and 11/0 with 'stuff' for accents.  Pearls, crystals, drops, fire polish, etc will all work.  Beginners welcome.  $30

February 28, 2012  Tuesday 11:30- 2:30  Tila Herringbone Bracelet with Marcia Balonis.  Knowledge of basic herringbone required.  Soft bracelet and very comfortable to wear.  Class does not include toggle construction.  May not finish in class.  Tila beads, 2 colors of 11/0 Delica SB’s and 15/0 SB’s.  $30

March 5, 2012 Monday 11-2 Tick Tock Spiral bracelet with Marcia Balonis. This piece selected for Bead and Button show 2012. You need weaving experience for this design using a right angle weave core for the spiral. Uses 6mm crystal rondelle, 4mm Crystal BI, 2 colors of 6/0 SB, 2 colors of 8/0 SB, 2 colors of 11/0 SB plus a 3rd 11/0 which can be a Hex if available, and a 15/0 SB.  Note that the sizes 15, 1 size 11, 1 size 8, and 1 size 6 are all a white in the samples and it will help if you have beads that are close to the same.  That means all white or all close to the same shade of blue or bronze.  Will not finish in class. TBG. $30
